PrSM is committed to safety performance excellence for our employee owners and our clients. We have a spotless safety record. During 2003, PrSM surpassed 10 years in business and 500,000 hours worked without a recordable injury or illness. We have never had an OSHA recordable injury or illness in nearly one-half million labor hours and eleven years of existence.  Our experience modification rating (EMR) for the past three years has been 0.82, 0.79 and 0.79. We maintain a comprehensive safety and health program that is fully integrated into our project planning and management system. PrSM has received the Safety Subcontractor Award from Bechtel Jacobs Company LLC, one of our clients, twice within the last three years.

PrSM firmly believes in establishing and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with our business partners.  We treat our subcontractors and vendors with respect and honesty and expect the same from our customers.  ORNL and PrSM have a long-term relationship that was cemented during our two-year Mentor-Protégé relationship sponsored by the UT-Battelle, LLC through DOE.  PrSM personnel in New Mexico also have strong, pre-existing relationships with personnel from SM Stoller Corporation, Adelante Consulting, Inc., Battelle Memorial Institute and Neptune and Company, Inc.

David Duncan, one of PrSM’s co-founders, was the Industrial Hygiene and Safety Manager at Oak Ridge National Laboratory prior to forming PrSM.  To this day, we capitalize on our intimate knowledge of the DOE market to help our clients solve problems.

PrSM also has been directly supporting LANL since 1994. In the past 3 years, PrSM has provided more than $3M in support to the following LANL Divisions:  Nuclear Material Technology, Chemistry, Material Science and Technology, Dynamic Experimentation, Decisions Analysis, Project Management, Health Safety and Radiation Protection, Safeguards and Security and Engineering Science and Applications.

899-1: Environmental Planning Services and Documentation - Services to include, but not limited to: Environmental Assessments and Environmental Impact Statements under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA); Endangered Species, Wetlands, Watersheds and other Natural Resource Management plans; Archeological and/or Cultural Resource Management Plans; Environmental Program Management and Environmental Regulation Development; Economic, Technical and/or Risk Analysis; and, other environmentally related studies and/or consultations. Homeland Security issues including vulnerability assessments, biochemical protection, identification of threats and protective measures to mitigate the threats and Crime Prevention through Environmental Design (CPTED) surveys.

899-2: Environmental Compliance Services - Services to include, but not limited to: Environmental Compliance Audits; Compliance Management and/or Contingency Planning; Permitting; Spill Prevention/Control and Countermeasure Plans; Pollution Prevention Surveys; ISO 14000/ Environmental Management Systems (EMS); and, Community Right to-Know Act reporting.

899-3: Environmental Occupational Training Services - Training to include standard (off -the-shelf), customized, and/or computer-based interactive courses, as well as converting existing courses to electronic media. Training may be conducted on or off site and may be on any number of environmentally related issues, including fire preparedness training and public fire safety education.

899-4: Waste Management Services and Software - Operational services, advice, or guidance in support of agencies' environmental compliance. Services may include, but are not limited to:
Data collection; feasibility or risk analysis; Source reduction; RCRA/CERCLA site investigation; Hazard and/or Non Hazard exposure assessments; Waste characterization studies; Review and recommendation of waste tracking or handling systems; Waste management plans and/or surveys; Review of technologies and processes impacting waste management. Management, furnishing or inventory of Material Safety Data via CD, Internet, Facsimile, Mail or other media; Reporting and Compliance Software; Development of Emergency Response Plans; Hazardous/Non Hazardous Materials Tracking Software; Creation and Maintenance of HAZMAT Tracking Systems.

899-6: Remote Advisory Services - Provide remotely delivered advisory services in support of agency's environmental programs. Services to include, but not limited to: Assistance concerning hazardous material spills, poisons, MSDSs, and Environmental Regulations which may be provided via a variety of means, including information hotlines, web-sites, fax or e-mail.


Instructions for Accessing PrSM’s Services through this GSA Contract:

1.   The customer prepares a statement of work (SOW) including task, duration, and deliverables.

2.   The customer supplies the SOW and PrSM’s contract information to the buyer for his or her organization.

3.   The buyer sends the SOW to PrSM and requests a proposal. 

4.   PrSM prepares a proposal including technical approach, cost, schedule, and resumes of key personnel.

5.   The buyer gets customer approval of proposal.

6.   The buyer prepares the contract paperwork and forwards to PrSM.

7.   PrSM signs the contract.

8.   Ready to work.  The typical turnaround for this mechanism is one week.
