GSA CONTRACT #GS-07F-5675R
PAES Air Emissions Scrubber
Product Description
PBS Engineering and Environmental custom designs, and has manufactured by PAES Systems, scrubbing systems to control the emissions and odors associated with the exhaust of the vacuum pumps that are used to remove sanitary wastes and oily water from ship holding tanks. These vacuum pumping systems are commonly referred to as a Wheelerizers. Testing found these emissions, prior to scrubbing, to contain high levels of hydrogen sulfide, dimethyl sulfide, methyl mercaptan and E. coli. Emission testing on the outlet of our scrubber has demonstrated the destruction efficiency for the removal of hydrogen sulfide exceeds 99.9%.
The scrubber system has a footprint of 6’-1” x 7’-6”. The fan system is a pull through. The unit is
a very portable, stand alone skid-mounted unit that contains the scrubber column, water recirculation system, fan, chemical feed tank and control panel. The connection mechanism from the scrubber to the wheelerizer is designed to reduce vibration in the wheelerizer. The scrubber is designed to treat the exhaust volume generated by the wheelerizer. The scrubber can also be easily adapted to treat emissions from sanitary lift stations.
Unit pricing is F.O.B. Portland, Oregon and does not include shipping. Installation, startup and testing within Oregon, Washington and California is included.
