Firm Overview and Experience
Background
Regus is a multi-national organization and leading worldwide operator of business centers, bringing together people, property, and technology to provide its clients with a platform for doing business on flexible terms, whenever and wherever required. Regus was founded in 1989 and has grown from one center to more than 400 operating in over 50 countries.
Services

A Regus Business Center is like a hotel except it isn't where you go to eat and sleep, it's where you go to work. Like a hotel, Regus Business Centers provide a variety of services. In addition to fully equipped and furnished office space, all Regus Busines Centers include a large, staffed reception area, several meeting rooms/training facilities, rest rooms, client service areas furnished with faxes, copiers, and other business equipment, and cybercafes with television and internet access.

Regus operates a global network of fully equipped workstations and meeting rooms which can be procured for an hour, a day, a month, a year or longer as easily as booking a hotel. Centers are located within modern and prestigious buildings, either close to central business, financial and hotel districts or in city perimeter business parks with excellent transportation links and are often close to major airports. Regus clients range from multi-national companies and Government Agencies to start-ups requiring flexibility and convenience at manageable cost.

By removing the complexities involved in managing and acquiring office and meeting room facilities, and by making the acquisition of Regus facilities as simple as renting a car or booking a hotel room, Regus allows organizations to focus on their core responsibilities.

In addition to the highly professional support staff at each center, Regus provides high-tech telecommunication systems and a global IT infrastructure to create a world-class support solution tailored to your individual agency's needs, whatever its size. Regus simplifies the running of an office so agencies can focus on their mission. Regus' straightforward, all-inclusive pricing structure allows agencies to manage and track costs easily and accurately.

Services for GSA
For GSA and its client agencies, Regus offers the following services:
Flexible Office Solutions
It is not uncommon for agencies to find themselves in a position where they no longer have the space to accommodate all of their FTEs. What is even more common, due to impending lease expiration, is an agency being required to secure space in an expeditious fashion to avoid holdover. With Regus, this situation is no longer as much of a cause for concern. With highly competitive market rates for office space and with flexible terms, Regus can provide fully integrated workspace that can be altered and tailored to meet individual agency needs. Regus workstations include the furniture, the telecommunications equipment, and the IT infrastructure necessary to efficiently conduct operations. The workspace can be open plan, or closed offices, and can have separate, secure entrances.
Training and Meeting Rooms

In addition to flexible office solutions, all Regus centers are equipped to provide training and meeting rooms. In over 400 prime locations worldwide, these rooms offer numerous facilities and services to ensure productivity and comfort. These services include:

  • Full connectivity, including Internet access
  • Breakout, workshop or syndicate rooms
  • Full catering service
  • Professional reception and service team
  • Complimentary refreshments including tea, coffee, water and cookies
  • OHP and flipcharts provided as standard, LCD projectors available on request
  • Plasma/Media walls in selected centers
  • Theatre, U-shape or classroom configuration
  • Availability by the hour or the day - even on short notice
  • State-of-the-art AV equipment including video and audio conferencing
Facilities

All Regus business centers include the following facilities, which are available to any agency using workstations or meeting rooms within a Regus center:

  • General reception areas with waiting facilities
  • Service points equipped with photocopiers, fax machines, and printers
  • Cybercafes that are furnished and fully equipped with coffee, tea, and internet access
  • Rest-room
Staffing
Facilities are staffed by a professional service team. All staff at Regus business centers are employed by the company. A large percentage of Regus employees have an excellent command of at least two languages including English, and each center includes multi-lingual team members. Regus invests time and resources recruiting and training its secretarial staff so clients instantly get a fully functional office without the added cost of hiring their own support staff.

Introduction to Regus Pricing
Offices
Office pricing is on a per workstation per day basis. This is due primarily to the fact that Regus office space is flexible and a given amount of square footage can contain a varying number of workstations. For example, in a Regus center an enclosed office of 150 square feet can contain one, two or three workstations. Additionally, because office space at Regus centers includes common areas such as meeting rooms, reception areas, coffee break areas, bathrooms, etc., figuring price on a per workstation basis is considered more precise and a better reflection of the true cost of occupancy.

Business Services - Regus office pricing can include add on services such as secretarial/administrative support and connectivity (telecommunications/IT) service. On the attached price spreadsheets, bundled packages for connectivity and business support services are automatically included in your price quotation. It is not required to take advantage of these packages and individual services are available on an "a la carte" basis. The Business Support Package includes: phone answering, unlimited coffee, tea, and water, up to 2,000 black & white photocopies per month, and fax, mail, and message handling. The Connectivity Package includes: digital phone service, two lines per handset, voicemail, uninterrupted power supply, data connectivity up to 1.5 MB, high speed internet access, managed firewall protection, Cisco/VLAN security and CAT 5 cabling infrastructure.

It is important to note that established schedule pricing does not include special promotional discounts that individual centers offer from time-to-time. Consequently, it is always recommended that pricing be confirmed by contacting the Regus Call Center at the toll free number (1-800-353-9281) set up specifically for Federal Government Agency use.
